Lesson: Chapter 9 Prophets of God
Story: King Benjamin Flannel Board Story
“King Benjamin,” Friend, Jun 1992, 5
Activity: The Stories of the Prophets – to help your family remember the stories and warnings of the prophets, print out the prophets in the March 2006 Friend magazine (Linda Magleby, “Sharing Time: Follow the Prophet”, Friend, Mar. 2006, 18–20) onto card stock or heavy paper and laminate them. Have each member of the family pick one and tell a story about that prophet. (Hint they are the prophets from the song)
Treat: Watchmen on the Tower
Use marshmallows, pretzels, melted white or dark chocolate, and graham crackers to make towers and eat them as you go or you can make a cake tower and see how high you can make it.
