Conference Gathering Activities

This is a really fun game because you are almost guaranteed at least one win. The words used are taken directly from the Gospel Principles manual and mentioned continuously in general conference.  The markers used are mini m&ms and then the case is used for the scroll conference notes. Here is what you will need.
-A 1/4 inch dowel (or two depending on the amount of people you have)
– File or sand paper
– 3/8 inch wooden buttons
– Wood glue/glue gun
– Score tape 1/4  inch (optional)
– Card-stock
– Mini M&Ms canister for each participant
– Plastic beads or embellishments for the canister

Sorry, either Adobe flash is not installed or you do not have it enabled

1. Cut the dowels into 3 1/8 inch sticks (2 for each participant)
2. Sand the ends of the sticks to flatten and even them out
3. Glue wooden buttons onto the ends
4. Use score tape or other adhesive (wood glue, or double stick tape) to adhere the sticks to the back of the scroll
5. Roll both sides in
6. Cut the bingo cards at the 5.5 inch mark and adhere the bingo card to heavy paper or card-stock.
7. Use score tape, sticker maker or other adhesive to adhere the cover around the m&m container.
8. Add beads or other embellishments to the canister
To play: Provide a glue stick and scissors and allow the participants time to make their own bingo card by pasting their choice of titles where they want them. Then as you hear the words mentioned, use the larger list (cut them out so you can use them for every couple of talks) to  pull the words and post them where every one can see.
The participants can then use the scrolls to write notes on.
