Confession: Slavedriver
My name is Bianca and I made my daughter cook Thanksgiving Dinner.
We discussed how difficult I found it to teach my daughter how to cook. Not because she isn’t good at everything she does but more because I am not as patient as I would like to be. Luckily, she is as forgiving as she is adorable. So for her “final exam” I had her cook a mini Thanksgiving dinner for all the children attending the party. I didn’t lift a finger! The hardest part of the whole day was staying out of the kitchen and not micro-managing. Which I got an A – on. (Minus for the last minute clock watching.) She served A beautiful baked chicken with green bean casserole, roles, mashed potatoes, gravy and she even made a homemade apple pie. It turned out so pretty that her Aunt had a hard time believing that she did it all by herself, to this day, she still thinks I helped.
My contribution to Thanksgiving? A Pumpkin Pie….from Costco.
You are the coolest mom. She will have so many talents to share with others (if they let her) when she grows up to be like us. Can I borrow her next Thanksgiving? I’ll even hire, not borrow :).
