The Forest

This is the time in some of our lives where we really have to look past the pile of dirty dishes, clothes, floors, toilets and (for some of us our own hair) to see the things we have done today. It is a time when we have to gain our self esteem from something other than our own accomplishments or the way we look. There has to be a place deep inside that we find our courage and our beauty…a place where we can see the forest through the trees…and appreciate the divine purpose of motherhood. There, we will gain a sense of accomplishment when we see what we have truly done today. And when we look past all that we didn’t do and look upon our sleeping babes tonight, we will know that today, they were loved…
