Holiday Decorating

Ok, so if you’ve read many of my blogs you know Vicki, she’s my very organized friend from AZ who loves laundry and de-cluttering her home, that is always immaculate. Well, she gave me this fun tip on Holiday decorating. I asked her how she is able to decorate and keep her house so clutter free. She said, “I have designated five specific areas in my home where I put decorations. I have five different decorations for each holiday and I just change them out. If I find something that I like better than one of those five I replace it.” So now I just have to find five places in my house where decorations would look nice, find decorations for each holiday about the same size and put them up. Here are some ideas:
Wreaths
Year Round Holiday Tree
Throw blankets
Coffee Table
Entertainment Center
Mantle over fire place
End Tables
A shelf or nook
Centerpiece for the Table
I loved this idea. Not only because it keeps my house clean of holiday clutter but because storing them is a cinch.
