No Spanka
So this morning began as usual, breakfast, (daddy made waffles), clean and dress babies, etc. During our morning routine, I said to my two year old, “Stop it or I will spank your butt!” To which he softly replied, “No Spanka my butt…I don’t Spanka the Momma’s butt.” Ok then. We are officially against corporal punishment in this house. Later that morning he wanted to watch the iPad. But daddy played trucks with him instead, while I played sorting and stacking with our one year old, my teen girl slept and my teen boy worked in his shop. Soon it was prepare the babies for their nap, while daddy prepared our teen boy for his board of review. They gathered and cleaned his uniform, adhered his merit badges and discussed possible questions that might be asked. Before dinner my teen boy watched the babies while the rest of us prepared the house and did the laundry for Monday. Then, they all went to the store to get some last min items before the sabbath day. In the evening after dinner, we bathed the babies, introduced them to the primary song called”Saturday”, and had the teens prepare their Sunday clothes. We read stories to the babies while my teen girl laid on the foot of our bed and my teen boy played peekaboo with them from the side of the bed until we were all laughing. Then we said family prayer. After the babies went to bed I finally got through all the dishes and put away all the craft supplies from the self worth forum my daughter did for a yw project on Thursday. And that was our day.
