Chapter 36: The Family Can Be Eternal
Thought: Karen Ashton, “Sharing Time: Love at Home,” Friend, Jun 1996, 44
I LOVE this idea. There are many printouts on love at home and eternal families but this one really lets you gauge how your family is doing with love at home and it allows all family members to make a conscious effort to keep a happy family. The person giving the thought can color and assemble the printable and then ask everyone to share something they have done that day to show love to the family.

Story/Activity: Sheila E. Wilson, “Sharing Time: I Will!,” Friend, Sep 2004, 35 This is a great story, it is short but it really makes the point. The bingo game gives new ideas on how to make your family stronger.
Treat: Spudnuts. Our old bishop’s family/extended family make these each year for Christmas treats for friends. The round ring shape will serve as a reminder that families can be eternal.
