Saturday: Making A Difference
As the Robert Baden-Powell imitator spoke, during the Philmont Training Center’s opening ceremonies, I remembered my own sincere desire to change the world, to make it a better place. I felt in me a renewed desire to make a difference. I’ve always wanted to do something grand, something spectacular to help the youth of this world come unto Christ.
Alas, I’ve come to the realization that I might only be a Mom. But if I’m a really, really good one, maybe, at the very least, I will leave this world slightly better than I found it.
You are not ONLY a mom…you ARE a mom and a great one at that. I think that we can’t truly know what a difference we make until we can watch a movie of our life up in heaven. Have a fun and happy 4th of July!
