Have each member of the family color a set of creation pieces, cut them out and put their name and date on the back of each piece. After they are all done, put them in bag or bowl, and have them take turns picking out a piece of the creation. The first person to get all of the pieces wins and can rest. You can later laminate them and save them for future lessons. It will be fun to see the child’s coloring through the ages. To make it harder have them try to pick out their own creation pieces and whoever gets all of their own pieces wins.  or  You can also use the images in “My Creation Book” “ For Little Friends,”  Friend,  Mar 2002,” to do the same thing.

Treat: Moon Pies or Moon Candy (Peanut Butter Candy, shown in picture) with He Hung the Moon Handout Here’s the Recipe Gail Shatto Fleagle, “Peanut Butter Candy,” Friend, Jan. 1998, 31, Or if you still think the moon is made out of cheese you could use mini cheese balls (minus the nuts), and you can have the best of both worlds and have it made out of both chocolate and cheese with this chocolate cheese ball recipe.
