Molly Enjoys Finding New Recipes

The key to using your food storage is knowing how to cook from scratch. The problem with cooking from scratch is the mess! Luckily, some friends of mine have taught me some basic tips that can help with that.
1. Start with a sink full of hot soapy water
2. If your recipe calls for eggs, lay out a paper towel for the shells
3. Put your recipes in a binder with sheet protectors or photo sheets
4. Gather up your ingredients into one small space, and put them back once you have used them
5. Gather up measuring cups and spoons
6. Wear an apron
7. Read your recipe twice before beginning to cook

Half the battle of cooking well is keeping the kitchen clean while you do. Here are a couple of tips: 1. Never try a new recipe during a dinner party. It is best to give your recipe a couple of tries before serving it to your friends. 2. When you are trying out a new recipe, do it exactly as it says the first time. Then you can add your own flava to it the next time you try it, that way you get a better idea if you like the recipe or not.
