The Food Nanny
I was watching BYU TV last Sunday, on account that I felt a little guilty for missing church due to a cold. (If it makes you feel better it did turn into a sinus infection later that week.) And there was this show on called The Food Nanny. When dinner becomes, what every you can fix in five minutes flat, or you become a short order cook for all five of your children, it is time to call the Food Nanny. Apparently, she can help you gain contol of your family’s dinner time with a few easy steps. If I remember it was 1. Meal planning with themes, 2. Have a strict time for dinner each day, and 3. Make it fun (with things like conversation starters.)
There have been so many studies that have shown the positive effects of sitting down as a family and eating dinner together and the Food Nanny shows you how to make it easier. Find more information, including sample menus and recipes visit TheFoodNanny.org
