Continuing Education is a lot more fun when you can do it on your own time, like during baby’s nap-time or in the middle of the night. There are many wonderful websites that make learning new things very easy. But maybe it’s learning the computer that you need help with. Here is a link to my favorite site. vtc.com It is called the Virtual Training Center. For 30 dollars a month you can learn, and become certified in, any software program you can imagine – with unlimited access. (Or you can watch some of their free videos to get you started) The videos are very short and those of us with short attention spans or children it is a great place to spend literally a few minutes a day expanding our mind, all for the price of going out to lunch once. I’m currently studying Adobe Acrobat Reader 9.0 for (ebooks,) Dreameaver (for websites) and Indesign (for everything else).
