Manicures: How To File And Buff Your Nails

Ok, if you are anything like me back in the day before children and husband you might be thinking…”Uh how selfish! I mean when we are feeling down we should serve others right?” I laugh now, when I think back at that time in my life.
It is 11:51 pm. I’m exhausted. I spent the day homeschooling my two children, trying new recipies out on my DH. Hoping he might find some joy in our new “Fair Wheathered Vegitarian” lifestyle, And cleaning the house for company. The thought of writing this down would be overwhelming if I didn’t have the notes I took from an enrichment night months ago. Here are some ways you can give back to yourself so you can be prepared for the long hours of giving to others.
1. Simplify
-Have realistic expectations of yourself, realize that somedays you will conquer the world and others, your lucky if you get fully dressed that day.
-Get organized
-de-clutter even if it is just 10 minutes a day, you will notice so much difference and feel lighter and less overwhelmed.
– Don’t over schedule yourself or your kids
2. Utilize Instant Pick Me Ups
-Get dressed – no sweatpants
-do your hair
-paint your nails
-take a shower or bubble bath
-turn on some uplifting music
3. Get Enough Sleep
-take power naps
-go to bed early every once in a while
4. Exercise
-Clean house with more energy than usual
-take your kids for a walk
-play take or hide and seek
There are many more ideas on my notes. After Enrichment night was over they handed out a nail file with the words “File away a little time for yourself” tied to it. Cute ideas
