Budget Crisis

I really hate how the holidays mess with my Budget. I get that theoretically, I should be planning for this season all year, buying gifts for people when I find good sales, hording everything in the attic, basement or under the bed, and all that, as I’m sure Molly does but really?… I mean doesn’t that break at least one de-cluttering law? And at the end of the day, what if I don’t like someone as much as I did at the beginning of the year or worse what if someone gets me something way better than I got them and then I’ll have to shuffle all the gifts around like a mad woman! And don’t get me started on gift wrap! Hello, a perfectionist like myself can’t bear to spend less on the gift-wrap then the actual gift itself. I mean the bows and accents and frills and stuff is just part of the package. I wonder if my friends know that I would probably spend more on their gift if I could bring myself wrap them up in newspaper comics! All of which gives us lots to talk about this season. We will see if we can’t just find some solutions to these minor holiday annoyances.
