Homemade Gatorade Recipe
My father was a health nut. We grew up on carob pancakes and alfalfa sprouts. I was on the tennis team in middle school and before a game my father would fix me a drink that he was sure would keep me hydrated. He used fresh squeezed orange juice, some salt, water and a little sweetener. He was worried about the effects of dehydration. I thought he was just being funny but it wasn’t more than 2 years later that Gatorade came out, and with it all the hype. And I realized how much he loved me.
