Confession Wednesday

Not taking myself too seriously is part of what makes the pursuit of excellence remotely bearable. In honor of that idea, I thought I would institute confession Wednesday. Every, Wednesday I will tell the world my short comings for the week just to keep myself humble and to help me laugh at myself and learn from my mistakes.

So, here it goes. Today there is a pile of dishes in the sink, I still haven’t quite cleaned up everything from our Cub Scout Committee annual planning meeting three days ago and can’t see me getting it done before next year, Home-school curriculum and supplies are creeping out of every room in the house, I have three loads of laundry to fold and I didn’t make my bed today. I let my children watch TV all day (of course my daughter read most of the time, but I didn’t even check what she was reading!) Plus…ok….are you ready for this? I had hot dogs for dinner tonight! There, I said it.
