Chapter 23: The Sacrament

Magnetic Activity

The great thing about having this magnetic FHE chart is that it can be used for Friend activities like this. Simply turn your FHE chart over, place the activity on top and slip it back into the sleave in the back of your FHE folder. Print or attach the pieces onto magnet sheets and you have  a display for your puzzles and or sticker activities. You can also make almost any Friend activity a “sticker activity” by printing one in Black in white and one in color on a magnet sheet, cut out the pieces for the children to attach with magnets onto the black and white background.

The child in your family, who gets “Thought” this week will enjoy this magnet activity/puzzle. They can display it and apply the magnets to the appropriate places as they or someone else reads the titles.

For the last box, they should already have a picture of themselves from the FHE chart that they can use to add to the space.

I really like the idea of using a sweet bread  for this topic and this one not too sweet and goes really well with hot cocoa,  hot vanilla, cold milk or chocolate milk. Snicker-doodles look just like a mini version of  the flat bread in the flannel board story above. So they might be fun to use for this lesson.
