Her Life is Balanced
One thing that has always eluded me about Molly is the idea that she does everything. Because when I try really hard to live one principal of the gospel, my efforts in other areas of the gospel seem to diminish. Here are some ways I think Molly is able to balance the gospel in her life:
1. She is never a fanatic about anything. She doesn’t have to go to extremes to get the promised blessings. She finds the most practical way to obey that principal, with logic, faith and prayer gains a better understanding of it, and then follows that principal accordingly.
2. She knows that…
“20 There is a alaw, irrevocably decreed in bheaven before the foundations of this world, upon which all cblessings are predicated—
21 And when we obtain any ablessing from God, it is by bobedience to that law upon which it is predicated.” (D&C Section 130:20-21)
And there are times when she needs certain blessings and that is when she focuses on the law (or principal) that will give her the blessings she or her family may need at the moment. Usually when Heavenly Father gives a commandment in the scriptures he tells you the blessing you will get, if obedient, in the same verse or shortly thereafter.
3. She understands there is a time and a season for everything. She knows that there is a time to raise your kids, a time to get an education, a time to do geneology and a time to bake bread. And she never seems to be confused or sad about the season she is in but instead enjoys the moment, knowing that there will be time for everything.
